Brick Memorial (1 Champion / 2 Medal Winners)
Anthony Santaniello closed out his career as a Mustang with his 2nd State Title, becoming the third wrestler in program history to accomplish that feat. The title was Santaniello's 4th State medal overall, joining his brother Vincent as the only Mustangs to win four State medals. It cements Santaniello's legacy as one of the all-time greats at Brick Memorial. His 138 wins puts him 3rd on the Stangs' all-time wins list. He was a 4-time Region, 3-time District, and 2-time Shore Conference Tournament champion. Next up for Santaniello, the University of Oklahoma in the fall.

Sophomore Harvey Ludington made it to his 2nd State final in as many seasons, but was unable to repeat as champion, finishing as the runner-up at 175 to another returning State Champion, Simon Ruiz of Delbarton.

Santaniello and Ludington's State medals give Brick Memorial 71 all-time, which is the most for any Shore Conference team.

Brick Memorial (2 Champions / 6 Medal Winners)
Anthony Santaniello won his 4th Region Title, joining his father Vinnie, Mark Worthy (Central), Lou Durant (Jackson Memorial), Luke Skove (Long Branch), Frank Molinaro (Middletown North / Southern), Glenn Pritzlaff (Middletown South), Vinnie DelleFave (TR East), and Tyler Klinsky (Middletown North) as a member of the Shore Conference's 4-timer Club. Santaniello, who also passed his brother Vincent into 4th place on the all-time wins list at Brick Memorial, is the 8th Stang to win 3 or more Region Titles. Harvey Ludington won his 2nd Region Title, keeping pace to be the next Stang to join the 4-time Champ Club. Santaniello and Ludington's titles are the 72nd all-time for Brick Memorial, the most in the Shore Conference. In all, the Stangs had six medal winners, five of whom return next season.

The Streak rolls on. The Mustangs have had a District Champion in every season since the program's inception, and are now at 41 years in a row, a Shore Conference record. The Stangs added six champions to their all-time total which now puts them at 199, 2nd to only Jackson Memorial on the Shore's all-time list. Senior Anthony Santaniello would have likely been joining his father Vin, along with five others, on Memorial's 4-time Champ list, but with no tournament in 2021, he became the 18th member of the Stangs' 3-timers club, joining his brother Vincent, among others. Brick Memorial also claimed their 3rd consecutive Team Title, their 32nd overall, which is another Shore Conference all-time high.
