Long Branch (1 Medal Winner)
On his 3rd trip to Atlantic City, senior Joey Giordano earned his first State medal with a 4th-place finish at 138. Giordano is Long Branch's 36th State medalist all-time, and their first since Ryan Zimmerman and Patrick O'Dwyer reached the podium on 2020. Giordano also matched Zimmerman for the highest placer for the Green Wave at States since 2010.

The Green Wave will have their first State qualifiers since the 2020 season in senior Joey Giordano and freshman Tornick Kajaia. It will be Giordano's third trip to States, having qualified previously at St John Vianney as a freshman and a junior, while Kajaia is LB's first freshmen to hit the boardwalk since Ryan Zimmerman in 2017.

With their 4 champions, the Green Wave extended their streak to 10 seasons with at least one District Champ, which has them tied for the 8th longest active streak in the Shore. It is the 7th time they have had multiple champions during this run, and puts them at 150 total champions, which is 5th best all-time in the Shore Conference. LB's 11 medal winners matches the program record set in 2008, and repeated in 2009.
