The Lions' trio of State qualifiers were eliminated on Friday with Brady Klinsky and Lucas Ainbinder each winning a bout before elimination.

While Klinsky and Matt Castelli will both be back next season, it brings an end to Ainbinder's career with the Lions. The senior had a breakout season in 2023, winning 33 bouts, and placing 4th at Regions after winning the District 20 championship, the first postseason hardware of his career.

Brady Klinsky became the Lions first Region Champion since 2020, when Fred Luchs, and Brady's brother Tyler, each won titles. It was the 4th for Tyler. This is Brady's 2nd Region medal, having finished 3rd last season, and it gives the Lions 23 Region Champions in all, tied for 14th best in the Shore Conference with Central Regional.
