3/1: Sellers Season Ends

Senior Cory Sellers post-season run was ended Saturday just one win short of a Region medal.  Sellers was defeated by Long Branch's Justin Clarke in the wrestleback semifinals by a score of 8-3 to end his season.

Sellers finished the year with a 15-8 record and a District 22 Title.

2/26: Teel and Akel Eliminated

Jordan Teel dropped a 7-3 decision to Ray Stathum of Long Branch, and Omar Akel lost to Southern's Manny Jorge, 4-2, as both wrestlers seasons came to an end on Tuesday night.  For the year, Teel finished up at 15-8 and Akel was 27-5.

Senior Corey Sellers is the lone Falcon remaining and will wrestle Friday night at the Ritacco Center in the Region 6 quarterfinals.

2/23: Sellers Wins District Title, Falcons finish 6th!

Senior Cory Sellers defeated Alex Schulmann, 3-2, to win the 135-pound weight class District 22 Championship and help lead the Falcons to a 6th place finish as a team.  Sellers moves on to the Region 6 Tournament as do Jordan Teel and Omar Akel who both finished in 3rd place.
