2/18: Rumson Advances 2 To Regions; Finish 8th At Districts
Senior Taylor Avino placed 2nd at 220-pounds, and freshman Marcus Iwama was the 3rd place finisher at 120, as the Bulldogs finished 8th as a team at this year's District 22 Tournament.
Avino, who also qualified for Regions last year, and Iwama will both be in action on Wednesday night in the opening round of the Region 6 Tournament. It will be the first time in three seasons that the Bulldogs have multiple Region participants.
